FallenBikers.com has three main goals:

• 1. To act as an online support group: Share your story. Bikers are not nameless, faceless individuals. We want the world to see the vibrant lives that should still be with us — lives that were lost due to senseless actions.
• 2. To promote motorcycle awareness.
• 3. To follow and report investigations of motorcycle accidents that result in injury or death in order to make sure that our justice system stands up for the rights of the victims and their families.

FallenBikers.com is still a baby. We want it to grow into a community — a place where all of our voices are heard. It’s a place to share tragedy and loss while still holding on to the hope that eventually people will realize bikers are not going away. Every time a biker falls, I read comments in the local newspaper from people that criticize us for choosing to ride bikes. They say it’s the risk we take.

Well, yes, I fully accept that there is risk. I take responsibility for that risk and that’s why I am hyper-observant while I ride. But what about your responsibility Mrs. Applying Lipstick While She Drives? And where’s your common sense Mr. Looking For A CD? And where is your conscience Mrs. Legally Blind And Driving Without A License? These people were the actual menaces on the road, not the bikers that many people look down on. OK, yes, our pipes can be loud and obnoxious. But, maybe that’s so you can hear us. You don’t have to like us. I don’t even care if you cringe and judge us, because you are allowed to be as close-minded as you please. But, whatever you do, stop hitting us! Use common sense and share the road.
